Creating indie games & experiences

Little Fern is a short horror romance game that I made in a month. The game has 5 endings that are all open ended and invites the player to continue the story in their own way. You play as a victim of abuse who wants to work toward their dreams but can't get out of their situation. One day you take a trip to the nearby gas station and meet someone who may be able to help you out. This was an experimental game that I used to test out Renpy and learn programming. So it's got a very... first game feel let's say.

Angel Boy is my second visual novel game that I'm currently working on. The story follows you, the dreamer, as you traverse multiple dreams based on actual ones I've written down over my life. You meet friends and foes, including Damien who is a hardheaded dream angel with a love for mischief. It's got elements of psychedelic horror and weirdcore. This second game is longer and more involved than the first! So I’m very excited to continue production on it.

How I started making games
and where I want to take it
To be honest I started quite a few game "studios" before this one. I had always wanted to make something at some point whether that be animation, games, comics or the like. There's been many failed attempts at projects, some of which are still floating around out there somewhere.I had initially started CCG to track the progress of Little Fern as I realized I was heavily enjoying the process of visual novel creation and might want to go forward with being a game developer. My dream is to one day take full advantage of Ren'py and create some unique experiences through the medium of visual novels.I enjoy creating story games but I may delve into short experimental experience games here and there too! I enjoy the mystery, slice of life and horror genres and you may find supernatural and psychedelic aspects in some of my work too.I love doing supernatural spins on every day life, artistic depictions of mundane moments, mental illness, etc as somebody who struggles with plenty myself. I hope to touch people with my stories and maybe spook them a little bit, who knows x)
F. A. Q.
Q: Can I make fan art of some kind?
A: Please do! I absolutely adore looking at all the fan creations everyone makes. If you don't post it anywhere, feel free to send it to me on tumblr or bluesky DMs so I can see!Q: When will _____ be released?
A: I'm the only developer for my games and I like it that way for now. I do the writing, the art work, the programming and the UI design and I'll be making music soon too. I also take my time on my games to avoid procrastination and burn out. All this to say my games' progress varies but I'll try to keep you guys updated on the status of things!Q: Why are your prices so high?
A: I think the prices on my games are pretty reasonable considering I'm doing nearly all the work by myself. There's a lot that goes into games plus all the years I've spent perfecting my skills. I think it's only fair to charge a few dollars for all my work even if the stories themselves are shorter. If you think I'm overpricing my games, feel free not to buy them.Q: How can I support you besides buying your games?
A: The best way to support me is becoming a member or just tipping on my Ko-Fi! You can find it on the links page. If you become a monthly member, you'll see exclusive sneak peeks and behind the scenes of the progress of my games too. If you're unable to support financally, the best thing you can do is just follow me on my socials, engage and share my posts!Q: Can I voice act/work for you?
A: As of right now, I'm not looking to hire voice actors or extra help. I'm very content working alone as I have a set working style and mentality. I may accept suggestions and ideas based on polls or from friends but that's about it! If this ever changes, I'll make an announcement!
